The Westside Farm Loop, located in West Kelowna, is a collection of farms, fruit stands, markets, farm to table events and agricultural experiences.
The best way to discover the bounty of the land is to round up your friends, fill up the car, grab a map and spend a day discovering these farms and fields. There is nothing like picking an apple fresh from the tree and biting into it, or walking through a peach orchard as the sweet fragrance of peaches surrounds the air.
Seasonal fruits and berries, honey, fresh organic produce or eggs fresh from the farm can be found at the farm gate operations.
Interactive learning experiences can also be enjoyed when visiting the Westside Farm Loop – from long table dinner events and workshops on preserving to ‘Know Your Farmer’ events where guests can walk through the farm with the farmer, learn and ask questions. The farm loop is also home to two wineries and a hundred year old nut farm where you can harvest nuts each fall!
The passion for the land and wholesome products runs deep. These farmers and agrarians are multigenerational farmers and they know their stuff. They know which type of apple or peach to use for baking pies vs muffins, they can tell you all about organic practices as well as give you tips on what food pairs best with our Westside Wine Trail wines.
