Family Day at Sncewips

Our FREE family day event will be taking place on Monday, February 19th!

We’ve got a number of family-friendly activities including…

12:00 p.m. Refreshments and Self-Guided Tours

1:00 p.m. ‘Birch Bark’ Basket Making Demo with Mona and Vern Tronson

2:00 p.m. Storytelling by Delphine Derrickson and Coralee Miller

We will be giving away take-home crafting kits so that you can make your very own ‘Birch Bark’ basket at home! Each kit will include the materials required to make the basket as well as a QR code with an instructional how-to video.

*Birch bark basket paper craft activities will be available first come first serve while supplies last

The Province of British Columbia has provided Sncewips a grant in support of our free, community Family Day activity!
