Light Up

Light Up, the brightest City event of the year, returns to Westbank Centre on Friday, Dec. 5.
Glow with the flow of holiday fun at our annual Light Up celebration!

Join us for a family-friendly evening of holiday cheer on Friday, Dec. 5! This free community event is packed with festive activities, live music, food trucks and plenty of holiday magic along Brown Road.

Children will be thrilled to see Santa, who will help with the traditional tree lighting ceremony. This year, the tree lighting will take place at a new time, 5:30 p.m., when Santa and the Mayor will flip the switch to illuminate the tree and light up Brown Road in spectacular style.

Keep the festive spirit glowing all evening long with free glow sticks, available at the City of West Kelowna booth next to the stage. Don’t miss the high-altitude fireworks show, scheduled for 7:45 p.m., weather permitting. The fireworks will be launched from Memorial Park/City Hall, making them visible from many areas in our community!

Celebrate the season with us on Friday, Dec. 5, and don’t forget to dress for the weather!

Schedule Highlights:

5:00 p.m. – Light Up begins
5:30 p.m. – Tree Lighting with Santa and Mayor Milsom
7:45 p.m. – Fireworks (weather permitting)
