Hailing from the enchanting Okanagan Valley, SHAPES & SHADOWS make their grand entrance with a harmonious blend of unforgettable melodies, intricate electronic elements, and entrancing atmospheres.
While SHAPES & SHADOWS may be a fresh name in the music realm, its members, including Chris Stickney (Vocals), Steve Nettleton (Keys/Vocals), Graeme Siewert (Bass/Keys), Jesse Suderman (Drums/Percussion), and Justin Thompson (Guitar), boast an impressive history with bands like Stutterfly, Oceans Apart, Snowdrifts, and more! They’ve united in pursuit of crafting emotionally resonant, ear-captivating melodies, and their music promises to leave an indelible mark.
This creative ensemble has fearlessly explored diverse musical concepts and sounds and has been compared to the likes of Jónsi, Sufjan Stevens, Son Lux, Radiohead, Phoria, Low Roar, Ry X, & Sigur Rós.
Collaborating diligently with the talented local producer, artist, and all-around good guy, Andrew Judah, at Sounds Suspicious Collective, SHAPES & SHADOWS has already released an EP and is actively working on new material.
