Okanagan Wildfire Responders Gratitude Event

This free community event will be an upbeat, family-oriented event highlighting the efforts of all frontline workers.
The event will include live music, food, special activities, and a formal gratitude ceremony. To allow sufficient time for our wildfire responders to wrap up their efforts and get some well-deserved rest, the event is planned for Memorial Park in West Kelowna on Saturday, April 27th, 2024.

10:00 AM | Event Begins
Activities and booths will open, including City of West Kelowna Fun Zone.

10:00 AM | Live Music and Entertainment
Live music and entertainment will begin.

10:45 AM | Walk of Heroes
The Walk of Heroes will begin, along with gratitude speeches and a presentation of the honour coins.

12:00 PM | BBQ Begins
The BBQ will begin at noon, accompanied by live music and entertainment.

3:00 PM | BBQ Ends
The BBQ will wrap up, and live music and entertainment will continue.

4:30 PM | Event Wrap Up
Event comes to a close.
