Park Play Day - Kinsmen Park

Get ready for a summer of outdoor fun with Park Play Day! Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., the Recreation and Culture Department offers a free, casual drop-in event for children aged 2 – 8 and their parents/caregivers. This fun program is held at various park locations throughout the city, it’s the perfect way to discover new parks and make new friends!

All the parks have playgrounds and our Recreation & Culture staff will be onsite with fun games and activities. Please note that not all park locations have washrooms.

June 1 Location: Kinsmen Park on Shannon Lake Rd

Cost: Free

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays | 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | May 23 to August 31

*If the air quality index is rated seven or higher, there is extreme heat or weather or an emergency event is in progress, the program will be relocated to the Multi-Sport Dome at 2139 McDougall Rd or cancelled.
