Get ready for a summer of outdoor fun with Park Play Day! Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:30 am, the Recreation and Culture Department offers a free, casual drop-in event for children aged 2 – 8 and their parents/caregivers. This fun program is held at various park locations throughout the city, it’s the perfect way to discover new parks and make new friends!

All the parks have playgrounds and our Recreation & Culture staff will be onsite with fun games and activities. Please note that not all park locations have washrooms.

Cost: Free

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays | 9:30 am to 11:30 am | May 21 to August 29

Where: Various park locations. Click on the link above or on the images below for schedule.

*If the air quality index is rated seven or higher, there is extreme heat or weather or an emergency event is in progress, the program will be relocated to the Multi-Sport Dome at 2139 McDougall Rd or cancelled. This information will be communicated on the City of West Kelowna’s Facebook page and Instagram Stories by 9:00 a.m. on the day of.
