Web of Life Presentation and Beaded Spiders

This workshop day explores Suknaqin/Okanagan perspectives. On connection and belonging, Dr. Bill Cohen will guide a web of life presentation that highlights the interwoven relationships between all living things. Following this, Anona Kampe will share the traditional Syilx Okanagan story, “why spider has long legs,” and lead a hands-on art session where participants ill create their own beaded spiders.

Spots are limited. WFN/Okanagan nation members have priority seating. Non-priority attendees $100 per day. Lunch will be provide.
