Residential School Presentation and Twined Basket Necklaces

This workshop day offers an opportunity to engage with Suknaquin/Okanagan perspectives on history, resilience and cultural continuity. Anona Kampe will share powerful storied of her lived and family experience with the residential school systems and its impacts, followed by Catherine Pierre who will be leading a hand-on workshop in twined basketmaking, guiding participants in creating their own pieces.

Spots are limited. WFN/Okanagan nation members have priority seating. Non-priority attendees $100 per day. Lunch will be provide.
