We invite you to join us for the 2nd Annual Westside Multiculturalism Day on Saturday, June 24th, at the Westbank Lions Community Centre!
This free, family-friendly event will have live performances from several different cultures, and cultural pavilions, representing over 20 different cultures from around the world, where you can engage and learn more about the diversity our community has to offer, sample cultural foods, and participate in fun activities. Complete the cultural passport by visiting all of the cultural pavilions and you will be entered into draws for some fantastic prizes. It is sure to be fun for all ages.
Lakeview Coffee Lab and Kona Ice of the Central Okanagan will be on-site, and also make sure to check out The Two Brothers Mexican Restaurant next door from 11:30 AM onwards!
There will also be a Highland Dance Workshop at the event courtesy of Emily McDonald’s School of Highland Dance, a children’s Caber Toss courtesy of the Penticton Scottish Festival, as well as the return of our cultural passport (with a new twist)!
