Workshop: Water Marble - Paper & Canvas

The magic art of water marbling.

Imagine using a simple BBQ skewer to swirl paint that is floating on water, and printing your creations onto a piece of paper. Join us at the Westbank Museum to experience water marbling! If you can sprinkle cheese on a pizza, and write your name with a pencil you can create magic with us!!!

We bring the beautiful, ancient art of water marbling to the 21st century by inviting you to be the artist. Make your own water marbled paper and an 8 inch by 10 inch art canvas. Our workshop begins with a demonstration. Each artist chooses their colours and floats the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water, then uses marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create the design of their liking. This workshop is open to all ages and abilities!

Ticket will include 5 papers & 1 art canvas. All designed & created by YOU! You will also enjoy a complimentary visit at the Westbank Museum. The Westbank Museum, located in West Kelowna, believes in the historical value of the cultural heritage of Westbank, its pioneers, and its community.

We recommend short sleeve shirts, aprons are provided.
