Over 100 years of history

Gellatly Nut Farm Park has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. Pioneer Jack Gellatly started experimenting with nut cultivation, aiming for high-quality nuts and resilient trees. In 2005, the farm transitioned into regional park.

A Year-Round Destination

Open from dawn to dusk throughout the year, the park offers various activities. Relax under the cool shade of mature trees on a hot summer day. Explore the pebble beach, take the kids to the playground, or enjoy a picnic with friends. Public washrooms are available for your convenience.

Fall Nut Harvest

From September to mid-November, witness the nut harvest. The Gellatly Nut Farm Society (GNFS) manages the harvest, with 100% of proceeds dedicated to park improvements and restoration projects. The GNFS works closely with the Regional District of Central Okanagan to preserve Jack Gellatly’s legacy and the park’s heritage nut trees.

Accessibility for All

Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park welcomes everyone. The park features crushed gravel pathways suitable for wheelchairs and strollers, along with accessible parking. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the orchard area.
