The Okanagan Select tasting room is located in Westbank and markets it’s own brand of locally caught (Osooyos Lake) canned Okanagan Sockeye and cold smoked wild Okanagan Sockeye fillets.
Okanagan Select is a proud member of the River Select Cooperative that has a mission to service the demanding markets that expect fish from sustainable sources. Being a proponent of fair and equitable trade, Okanagan Select also partnered with T’aaq-wiihak Fishery in 2018. T’aaq-wiihak Fishery is an indigenous, community based fishing group that operates a small fleet and landing site in Tofino, BC. They use traditional, sustainable fishing practices that have less impact on sensitive ocean environments and reduces the amount of by-catch. These partnerships have made it possible to provide residents of the Okanagan with traceable, top quality, wild fish and fish products (i.e salmon jerky) from the open waters of the Pacific Ocean and nearby BC rivers.
