Annual Events and Festivals
In West Kelowna, our annual festival and events are more than just dates on a calendar, they are the moments that define our seasons. Whether it’s a world-class concert overlooking the valley or a grassroots festival that brings the whole community together, there is an intentional, laid-back vibe to how we celebrate here.
Summer in West Kelowna is all about the lake and the land. You will find us at Memorial Park for the local tradition of Westside Daze or catching a free Friday night show at Music in the Park. For something truly world-class experience, the Mission Hill Summer Concert Series brings legendary talent to an outdoor amphitheatre with view that are hard to beat. We also take great pride in the Siyaʔten Festival, where Westbank First Nation invites everyone to experience the drumming, dancing, and deep history of this territory.
As the air cools, the focus shifts to the Westside Wine Trail. Our signature “Sip” events throughout the year offer a behind-the-scenes look at our vineyards and a chance to taste what makes this region so special. By December, the energy moves to Brown Road for our annual Light Up, a festive, small-town celebration that kicks off the winter season with a lot of heart.
From the Indigenous culture of the Okanagan/syilx People to our award-winning wineries, these are the events that make West Kelowna a destination in every season.
