Westside Daze is one of West Kelowna’s most popular annual summer festivals, bringing residents and visitors together each July for a full weekend of entertainment, food, and family friendly fun. Held in the heart of West Kelowna, the event showcases the community’s spirit through live music, local vendors, and exciting activities for all ages.
The festivities begin on Friday, when Shooting Star Amusements opens for the first rides of the season. Visitors can enjoy the official opening ceremonies, grab a bite from food trucks, and take in the evening entertainment that sets the tone for the days ahead.
Saturday is the biggest day of the festival. The morning parade along Old Okanagan Highway and Brown Road draws crowds of all ages, while Memorial Park becomes a hub of activity with the Kids Fair, Fun Zone, food trucks, and community vendors. Live performances throughout the day keep the park atmosphere enjoyable for families and visitors. The evening features headline entertainment and a Drone Show, a summer highlight for West Kelowna.
Sunday offers one more chance to enjoy the festival, with Shooting Star Amusements operating into the afternoon before the weekend winds down.
