There is excitement and anticipation in the air around West Kelowna these days and it is due to Saturday’s big announcement of ‘which community will be the next Kraft Hockeyville’. Organizers have a party planned and the community is invited to come, have some fun and meet up with their neighbours over some good old fashioned hockey themed events. From pancake breakfasts, hockey games, meeting former NHLers to the ugliest Don Cherry jacket contest, it is sure to be a fun filled day.
It all takes place at Royal LePage Place with the festivities beginning at 8 am and lasting throughout the day. The last event will be the viewing of the Vancouver Canucks game and the live announcement. Spread the word, come on down and join in the community spirit!
