It’s time to get festive! There are some great holiday events taking place in West Kelowna over the coming weeks. Use this handy Ho Ho Holidays Event Guide and make the most of this holiday season.
From Light Up events and craft markets to wine touring and photos with Santa, there is lots of holiday cheer to enjoy on the Westside in December!

Guests are invited to wander the estate and immerse themselves in all kinds of holiday wonder! During the Winter Wanderland event a ‘Giving Tree’ fundraiser will take place to help raise money for the Central Okanagan Fire Relief Fund. To participate, simply make your way to the Harvest Gathering Site, make a donation, and receive an ornament. This ornament can be placed on one of four community trees throughout the Harvest Gathering Site. Pizza and wine by the glass will also be available for those families looking to settle in, enjoy the view and take in the trees.

Celebrate with the community at the 7th Annual Festival of Trees at Mission Hill Family Estate. This ticketed event will benefit BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Revel in the holiday spirit at the opening event with live music, mulled wine, hot chocolate and holiday treats prepared by their culinary team. Welcome the holiday season while helping to meet the goal of $50,000 in donations to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Enjoy a brilliant forest of sparkling, sponsor-decorated trees, set outdoors on the covered Terrace and Loggia.
To further get in the holiday spirit, book a seated tasting of their Terroir and Legacy Collection wines paired with estate-grown fare. Includes a special tour of the beautifully decorated trees throughout the barrel cellar and tasting hall. All trees are sponsored in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. $15 from every tasting benefits the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Light Up will take place on Brown Road with the flipping of the switch happening at 6:00pm. There will be food vendors, kid’s activities and several community groups participating in this year’s event. Stop by the photo booth, roast some marshmallows, drop off a letter to Santa, try some crafting, watch the Zamboni bring Santa to help light up the street, or just come for the lights! New this year is The Market at Light Up, a craft show being held in the Westbank Lions Community Centre.
FIREWORKS! Subject to weather, these high-altitude fireworks will be set off at 8:30pm and can be viewed from any place in Westbank Center.

Want to know where the best holiday light displays are in town? Take a self-guided tour of all the Twinkle Tour entries and see West Kelowna twinkle and shine. Winners will be announced on December 2oth. Find a mobile-friendly map of all the locations on the Twinkle Tour website. The map will be updated as new locations are submitted.
