1 Boucherie Multi-Use Path/Recreation Corridor

The Boucherie Multi-Use Path/Recreation Corridor is a 4.8 km long recreation route that is ideal for both cyclists and pedestrians. This off-street shared pathway offers a picturesque and adventurous journey past vineyards, a bird-watching area, a beach, wineries and a brewery. The pathway is mostly paved, making it convenient for wheelchairs and strollers. There is a section between Hatch Winery, Quail’s Gate Winery, and Green Bay Road that is crushed gravel and is not unsuitable for wheelchairs. Cyclists should be aware that there is a steep include by the vineyards of Quail’s Gate and walking your bike may be necessary.

Swirl and sip your way along the Westside Wine Trail where you will find not only winery tasting rooms, but restaurants, spectacular views, outdoor music concerts, art showings and wine education events. The Westside Wine Trail is the place where you can taste the entire Okanagan all in one convenient area. Wineries here are terrior specific, but also have long-standing partnerships with farmers in the South Okanagan and Similkameen, enabling visitors a diverse tasting experience. 3 Mt. Boucherie

Bring out the geologist in yourself with some volcanic explorations while hiking up The Boucherie Rush trail on Mt. Boucherie, our 60 million year old dormant volcano. This mountain is a focal point in the community and is actually an extinct volcano. The volcano is 50–60 million years old and it has slowly been eroding over time. The top elevation is 758 metres. You can spend as little as half an hour or a half a day exploring Mt. Boucherie. Parts of the trail are easy enough for the whole family to do, while other parts, such as the northeast face of the mountain should be reserved for more experienced hikers. 4 Telemark Nordic Club

Cross Country Ski by day or under the moon at Telemark Nordic Club. This 2500 acre site has over 50 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails and an additional 24 km of snowshoeing trails. Your four-legged friend can also join you for a snowshoe on a special 3.3 km K9 trail. Night skiing takes place seven days per week with trail lights on from dusk to 9 pm.

8 Gellatly Bay Waterfront

Build a sandcastle along the sandy shores of Willow Beach or zipline into the sparkling waters of Lake Okanagan down at the Gellatly Bay Waterfront. The waterfront area has several smaller parks and beaches that are all connected by a waterfront walkway that consists of pavement and crushed gravel. The pathway goes from the Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park to Rotary Beach. Along the waterfront one can find: Rotary Park: A small grassy park with picnic tables and shade trees Gellatly Bay Dog Beach: A fenced in dog beach CNR Wharf: Historic walk for walking, as well as water fun. Near the wharf is a smaller dock that has a zipline. Willow Beach: Sand beach with washrooms and shade trees. Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park: A historic working nut farm that also has a playground, washrooms and a pebble beach. The Cove Lakeside Resort: A resort that has a restaurant open to the public.
