Farmers’ Market in the heart of Westbank Centre in West Kelowna
The Westbank Farmer’s Market may be small, but don’t let its size fool you! One can still get great farm fresh fruits and veggies, along with preserves, baking, and artisanal crafts at it. Each Saturday morning from the end of June to mid September, the Westbank Farmers’ Market sets up in front at the Westridge Shopping Centre on the Corner of Main St & Elliott Rd where it holds a few nice surprises for the people who stop by.
There is entertainment, historic markers and public art in the area and if you time it right, you just might end up seeing the market mascots – the alpacas!
This market is a great place to buy those farmers market staples of orchard picked fruit, farm fresh veggies, and honey from the local farms. This coupled with vendors showcasing their art, photography, artisanal products like soap and stained glassworks as well as baking makes for an enjoyable trip – sans the crowds and hassles of the larger markets.
Saturdays end of June – Mid September – 9 am to 1 pm
