Here are some great options for spring break adventures in West Kelowna. Whether you’re looking for outdoor thrills, cultural experiences or relaxation, West Kelowna has a perfect mix of activities and experiences for a fun-filled spring break.

1. Learn about the culture of the syilx/Okanagan people at the Sncewips Heritage Museum or step back in time at the Westbank Museum.

2. Dive into fun at the pool! Find the 2024 Spring Public Swim schedule for Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre in the Recreation Guide.

4. Hit the driving range at Two Eagles or play golf at Two Eagles Golf Course & Academy or Shannon Lake Golf Course (opening dates in March).

6. Spring is a great time to go birding. The annual spring migration starts in March and continues through May. Download our birding map and guide and see which feathered friends you can spot!

7. Go on a sweet tooth tour and check out the local sweets. Find baked goods at Specialty Bakery, It’s a Bakery, Anne’s Beach Cafe, Kekuli Cafe, Two Donkeys Bakery and Blenz, with Sonic Car Wash and Dairy Queen being great places for frozen yogurt or ice cream.

8. Check out the skateboard park on Old Okanagan Hwy or the skate park and pump track on Quail Lane.

9. Bring out those wheels and go for a bike ride along the Gellatly Bay Waterfront or on the new Boucherie Road Multi-Use Path.

12. Visit the wineries, as in the spring the tasting rooms are not as busy, allowing visitors to ask questions and learn a lot about the wines of the region.
