Fall Colours in IG Photos: Weekend Roundup

Spectacular Fall Colours in West Kelowna as seen on Instagram

If you thought that the fall colours are more spectacular this year, you are probably right. Byland’s Nursery recently linked to an article on their Twitter account that talked about why some Autumns are more colourful than others.

It turns out that weather has a lot to do with the intensity of fall foliage colours. You can read the full article here to understand how the changes take place, including what anthocyanins and carotenoids are (for all you science lovers out there)!

But for those who just want to enjoy the spectacular show that nature gives us and aren’t too worried about the how’s and why’s, here are a few West Kelowna fall photos that we found. Enjoy!
